My wife and I first really got into Renaissance Faires back in 2005.
At that time, we lived in Hawaii, where there are no Ren Faires. For
that reason, we didn't make it to any Faires until 2006. Once we moved
back to the Continental US, our faire trips came as often as we could afford.
We've been to the 2006 PA Ren Faire, the 2006 CT Ren Faire, the 2007 AZ Ren
Fest, the 2007 CT Ren Faire, and the inaugeral Down East Pirate Days
The wife and kids made it to the 2008 CT Ren Faire. I had to move back to
Hawaii, so I didn't get to any Faires in 2008. For 2009, I intend to make
it to the CT, PA, VA, and MD Ren Faires, at the least. Hopefully more.
As part of the Ren Faire crowd, the wife and I have become a licensed Wench,
through the
International Wenches Guild , and I became a certified Rogue through the
International Brotherhood of Rogues, Scoundrels, and Cads .
